Corporate Governance
The Board of Directors of Dominion Mining Limited endorses the need for and continued maintenance of the highest standards of corporate governance practices and ethical conduct by all directors and employees of Dominion Mining Limited and its controlled entities. The board is ultimately accountable to the shareholders and delegates responsibility for the management of Dominion Mining Limited to the Managing Director and his senior management team.
The board recognises that it is the responsibility of both the directors and management to carry out their functions with a view to maximising the long-term financial performance of Dominion Mining Limited for the benefit of shareholders.
The company’s Corporate Governance practices are mainly consistent with the Australian Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Council’s “Principles of Good Corporate Governance and Best Practice Recommendations” released in March 2003.
